TM1 Perspective Websheets & Active Forms

TM1 Perspective Websheets & Active Forms

TM1 Perspective Websheets & Active Forms can be extremely helpful to take your TM1 data and manipulate it with Excel’s formulas to get quicker turn around on ad-hoc reports and calculations that have not been designed in existing TM1 cubes. While the natural design of Active Forms, in general, is not as flexible as Websheets, they may require less maintenance in the long run on certain types of reports. This is especially true when rows in your report frequently need to bring in new elements each time they are added to a dimension. With some creative thinking and your Excel knowledge, you can actually get a lot more customizing into Active Forms than what you may have initially thought.
